I Pulled Some Pork
I have to thank Danielle, my Daughter-in-law for this one. She has a shop called the Dinner Station, where they make up the recipes and flash freeze them. All you have to do is pop it out of the freezer and cook. This was one of there latest and proved to be easy and most delicious. I of course had to adapt and I don't have a Dinner Station.
I put my little pork terderloin in my great big crock pot covered it with about a cup of barbecue sauce. This is where I adapted...I used Jack Danial's Hickory Brown Sugar Barbecue Sauce.
Turn the crock pot on low and forget about it for the rest of the day. Just before I was ready to serve I used 2 forks to shared the meat. Presto...pulled pork! I have to say it was heavenly.

I gotta say, Mr. Neil's plate is making my mouth water. That looks so delicious. But yeah, I'll have some onions on mine, as well. :)
The only liquid you used was the bbq sauce?
BTW, I love that blue bowl for your crockpot. Mine's white. That blue is so much prettier.

Actually the bowl is green. I don't know how to take pictures that show true color.
Yes the only liquid I used was the BBQ sauce. I did turn the pork once but I don't think it was necessary.

Oh Pam. I could cry reading your post!!! I tried to make pulled pork last week in my pressure cooker and it turned out hard and digusting... I sliced in, slabbed on sauce and ate half but it gave me heartburn! LOL. Then I threw out the rest. I don't have a crock pot though I am tempted to get one... I don't have a lot of counter top space... Boo-hoo. Even your pickle looks great!

That's how I make pulled pork but haven't used that sauce before. Sounds like a trip to Wal-Mart soon. Hopefully Kroger will have their pork on sale soon - time to stock up.

There are so many good things you can make in the crock pot, you should get one. It doesn't have to be a big one.
Tricia it is the first time I have used this sauce and it was really good especially if you like a sweet BBQ sauce.

Pam, that looks so good. I don't use my crockpot nearly as much as I should.

Pam, your pix got me so hungry, I tried making it my way. I took some thinly sliced pork, boiled it with a little brown sugar, vinegar and water. Then pour in the barbecue sauce. Just cooked on slow heat until the meat kind of became ONE with the sauce!! It didn't have that pulled texture but was satisfying all the time.
Now I'm going to try to find a dill pickle like yours. LOL
